Cute and Cuddly

|

Last week, I joined a photography group in London and it seems that I left my creative mojo behind the lens. We walked around Borough Market on Sunday to capture impressions of Bastille Day but sadly, most of the stalls were closed. The market is one of my favourite places in London although it has become very touristy.
With the little mojo left, I made some simple cards without greetings for my own use. The July issue of Making Cards comes with free papers and toppers and I couldn't resist the cute characters.

On a positive note, despite the lack of creativity, something good is coming out of my photography course. At least I know how to do the camera settings now to take pictures for my blog.

Happy Bunny - Part 2

|

Summer is in full swing and we are blessed with endless hours of sunshine. It's the summer that I am going picture crazy with our cat Jess. She is now 17 years old but you would never tell. Here is our little Ms Sunshine:
While I'm not busy with my blog, I'm doing other creative stuff and joined a photography group. Last Sunday, I met with other photographers in London to have a go at portraits. The first results are anything but promising although I got a few good shots that I'm happy with. This weekend, we are shooting at Borough Market in London and I'm really looking forward to that. I love this market, it's colourful and so tempting with so much food on offer.
Cardmaking & Papercraft picked a few of my designs again which are published in Issue 133:

It's the third time the magazine shows my designs after this one which I hadn't put up on my blog yet:

Can't say how much of a happy bunny that makes me!

Their Cardmaker of the Year competition has started and I've got until mid September to come up with three designs, I just need to pick the categories I want to enter. That should be the easiest part I would hope! So I'm back to cardmaking this weekend and I've got lots of free goodies from my favourite magazines to play around with.

Hope you enjoy the sunshine!
