Purple box

+++ News from Urban Moose +++

I had little inspiration last weekend, but that all changed when my friend Diane came around on Sunday with some crafty goodies including ribbons. I had been wanting to make a card in a box with Quick Card's free gift from issue 134 (Wild Rose Studio's Bluebell d├ęcoupage and papers) and I was missing something purple. It's my favourite colour although I don't like it on cards, so this one is a bit... not me.

I used my die and green patterned paper to cut the grass, then fussy cut layer 1 of the d├ęcoupage images and the little hedgehog from the base layer of one image. Filled the box with flying hearts made from purple cardstock and yellow patterned paper. Finished off with a pretty double bow decorated with a half pearl.

I've got a mini collection of easels to show next and I worked all night yesterday to finish my first exploding box. It's a lot of night shifts for me as I don't have any time for crafting during the week.

Hope you find some inspiriation on my blog!
