Papercraft Essentials 129 - Accordion Folding

|

Here are four of five designs that were published in Papercraft Essentials last month. It's another Beginner's Guide to a folding technique, this time accordion folding.

If you already make your own paper rosettes with a scoring board, you might find it difficult to get all the folds in the right size. I discovered Nellie Snellen folding dies which were perfect for this Beginner's Guide. For this collection, I used Kaisercraft's Ma Chérie papers to go with the colour combo I was given.

Hope you like my makes!

Cover Girl & Baby Girl

|

It's been two weeks of ups and downs. Our little girl Ellie was born last Sunday but one week earlier we sadly lost my mother. I can't travel to Germany to attend the funeral so my brother has been making arrangements.

Now our baby is here and she is giving me the much needed distraction. Luckily, Papercraft Essentials are keeping me busy with commissions. I was even more thrilled when we returned from the hospital last Monday to find that my card was on the cover of their latest issue!

This month, I love Keren Baker's stamped Mother's Day designs and Marie Jones' Beginner's Guide to Spotlight Stamping with some very beautiful results. Get your copy now and check out my Marianne Design cards!

I'll be back to crafting soon but still recovering. All projects at the moment are for the magazine so I'll post them one month after they've been published. I should also get some birthday cards done because there are so many of them in March.
