Papercraft Essentials 132 - Flower Power

When I was asked two years ago to design for Papercraft Essentials, I was thrilled, but I also knew that some commissions would be a real challenge for me... Anything to do with flowers and butterflies, for example. Which is why my flower feature in the latest issue of Papercraft Essentials was a lot of trial and error... Until I finally found what was my style, featuring flowers in each design.

You can already spot some of them on the cover! I thought long about what to make and decided to show different techniques. I used acetate in each of my four card designs and you will also find two other ideas with flowers.

This month, I love designer Jo Kill's makes with the free gift, a flamingo die. You will be stunned what she made with it! I've already had a play with it, too. It's one of the best freebies I've had in a while. Amy Gray shows three simple and beautiful designs using the Lollipop Tree die from Die-Cutting Essentials. Her box frame turned out really beautiful and it's a great gift idea for someone who is moving home. Last but not least, Maria Jones shows you how to stamp on acetate with some stunning results.

Lots of fresh ideas for your spring makes in this issue!
