Made with Love

Back with the same design but different papers this time. I've been collecting free papers from magazines which I always keep for iris folding. There are a few paper pads that you can buy with papers that are easy to fold into strips without making the card too chunky. Kaisercraft and Wild Rose Studio are my favourites. Lili of the Valley used to sell (thin) paper pads, too, but they seem to have taken them out of their product range.

These papers are from Making Cards magazine. I like how they rebranded their free papers which now come in a handy format and are easier to store. I still had pearlised cardstock left and plenty of coloured card including black. I wasn't so sure how the design would work out with the choice of card. The first card ended up in the bin as I left only a narrow black border which didn't look right. Here's my second attempt and the black really makes it stand out.

After this card, I made one more with free papers which gave me the idea to raid my stash and use up bits & pieces. Make sure to check out my blog in the next few days!
